The KG-8 is a recent Kataphrakt model developed by the United Earth forces that serves as a cross between the KG-6 Sleipnir and the KG-7 Aerion, created in unison with the former. The armor is not as high as the Aerion's but because of the weight the unit does not boast as much speed compared to the Sleipnir. The Enbarr does however boast strength in detection range of enemy and allies alike from its improved ERX-12 Sensor Suite which combines multiple different systems such and IFF, Early Warning Response, and basic Thermal detection systems. In the field, the Enbarr also has great versatility being able to mount missile and rocket launchers for taking on powerful opponents at a distance and with maximum firepower and while its main machine guns are the same as its sister machines, the Enbarr can carry more ammunition into battle, so it can also support allies with extra equipment and gun magazines. A trait to note is the Enbarr is best used in open field type area's where there is less stuff to get hindered by. Open Fields, over the water, and space are ideal locations for this Kataphrakt, but that does not mean that this unit can't preform well in urban and cluttered areas. In the hands of a skilled pilot, this machine's maneuverability is its deadliest weapon.

History

Developed alongside the Aerion, the United Earth Forces produce a third mess production machine meant to bridge the roles between speed and defense. This resulted in the development and deployment of the AG-8 Enbarr, which boasts considerable maneuverability even in close quarters combat. Because of the frames design, the machine has a slight boost in power efficiency compared to the AG-6 and AG-7 models, but does not posses much in terms unique equipment in order to reduce cost and build time for manufacturers. The AG-8 Enbarr is currently limited in production but is expected to either be placed into mass production or have another unit based off of it developed for future use.
