Soon, the First Earth-Mars War breaks out between Earth and Mars.
Armed with powerful mechs called Kataphrakts, the Martian soldiers begin to descend from the sky in fortresses called
Landing Castles, intent on exterminating all Earthlings.
United Earth (commonly abbreviated as U.E.) is one of two factions in Aldnoah.ZERO RPG. U.E. is the government that controls Earth and directly opposes the Vers Empire in the war.
Humans are referred to as Old Humanity and Terrans by citizens of the Vers Empire.
The Vers Empire is one of two factions in Aldnoah.ZERO RPG. The Empire was founded on Mars by the First Emperor Rayregalia Vers Rayvers, and is the government that rules Mars (called Vers by its citizens).
The humans who live there are referred to as Martians.
The vastness of outer space, controlled by no one. The Moon and surrounding debris serve as the prime locations for some battles in the war.
